Conveyor System Check: Maintenance List

Once you have installed the perfect design of the high quality conveyor line, you may think it is time to relax. However, “smooth operators” know that regular monitoring can reduce downtime and lose production and maintenance costs.

Consider using a preventive maintenance log or list to check regularly or continually (possibly weekly, monthly or half year). Your part manager can make suggestions to meet the following steps:

Weekly Eyes: Check the lens to ensure that the sensitivity is properly adjusted (no rollers, lighting, etc.).
Pneumatic Solenoids – Weekly: Listen to leaks and correct (replace ruptured polyhedrons, loose air fittings, etc.).
Monthly Roller Conveyor Conveyor Belt: Make sure to track the belt correctly and adjust the tension properly. CAUTION: When tightening the belt, remember to tighten it only to drive the product. Check if the drive pulley is worn. If left behind, must be replaced. Keep the belt and shoelaces in hand to repair worn or torn areas.
Remove debris from the inner / inner conveyor every month: remove debris from the debris and drive / sucker wheels beneath the conveyor.
Mesh Conveyor – Half Year: Open the belt and remove the debris, collect and drive the sprocket around the shaft. If the belt is extended (less drive), remove several connecting rods to tighten the belt. Check the belt module and the pins are worn, if excessive wear, please replace.
Lubrication for six months: grease drive chain, bearing, drive and take-up pulley (bearing bearing).
Roller – as needed: Replace any noisy creak bearing. Check the hexagon and groove for wear. Wearable slotted rods can be replaced. Hex bars are usually trapped in the rollers; those rollers should be replaced.
Others – according to need: air filter / regulator, adjust the brake, pressure plate.
Follow the steps below to properly maintain your delivery system and will result in product life and your inspection pass.
